We Alumni Can Make A
Difference
In 1993, an endowed scholarship was established to
provide an annual scholarship award to help WHS graduates continue their
education after graduation. We are grateful that your support has made it
possible to help an outstanding young person like the 2005 recipient.
The basic guideline for this scholarship award is
based equally on financial need and demonstrated motivation and ability to
succeed in one's chosen field at the accredited academic or vocational
school of the recipient's choice.

Competed in varsity cross
country and track all four years
Captain of cross-country and
track teams senior year
School activities included cross
country, track and field, First Priority, Students Against Destructive
Decisions (SADD), Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and Choir
Received numerous Cross Country
and Track awards, including Most Valuable Runner, Hardest Worker, and
Warrior Award
All-State finisher in Cross
Country in 2003 and 2004
Academic All-State Team, 2004
Hold three school records,
including 3200m run (11:11.12), 1600m run (5:09.71), and 1600m Medley Relay
AP Scholar
"A" Honor Roll every semester
